Speaking at Mountain View College

Dallas County Community College District

Do you represent a community college? Do you ever bring in motivational speakers to give a speech to your students?

If so please consider inviting Fabian Ramirez to come to your school and give a motivational seminar, workshop or keynote presentation for your students. Fabian started by attending a junior college in the Houston, TX area called San Jacinto College. After earning enough credits he later transferred to the University in Dallas, Texas.

He shares how he started off by failing all three parts of the entrance exam and having to take remedial courses his first semester. Since it’s not about how you start it’s how you finish, Fabian will take students down a journey they will never forget and share how he ended up with a Masters degree in Management and finished with a 3.85 GPA.

Community College students deal with a lot of issues that most do not understand. For example, some already feel that starting at the junior college level is somewhat of a defeat for them. Others simply cannot afford to start at the University level so they attend the nearest local college.

Commuter students typically are the ones that have the hardest time because most attend courses at night and it’s common for them to miss classes throughout the semester putting them in a position where they are always having to catch up on school work.

Records show that commuter students are the ones that drop the most courses during their first year of community college.

By bringing in a speaker, that person can inspire students to hang in there for the long run and show them what the end results of their sacrifice looks like. Not only that but a speaker can talk to them at their level, plus their a neutral person that can say the hard truths that students need to hear.

Contact Fabian today to schedule him to speak at your next event for students. This would be a great event for the office of student life to put together.

When looking for the best college speaker you want to get someone who is funny, inspirational and a great storyteller all at a reasonable price. This is why it’s a good idea to find a speaker who has been through college and actually finished. Nothing is more inspiring than listening to somebody with a list of accomplishments because you know they can understand what college students are going through. They have lived where they live and they have taken the courses that they are currently taking. So when looking at speakers, make sure to make it a priority to book one with a college degree.

Next be sure that they speak more than a couple times every year. Get a seasoned professional speaker that knows how to work an audience. Too many people want to speak to this age group but lack the experience needed to relate to them. College campuses all over the U.S. have events year around, so it’s a good idea to call a nearby school to see who they have had in the past and ask if they were any good. Referrals are simply the best way to find anything good, like a restaurant, the same is true for speakers.

Truth is you may not know where to start on your search when booking the best college speaker for your next event. Feel free to contact us for suggestions. There are plenty of speakers to choose from but I’m sure you want to get the best. I don’t blame you, a lot of riding on your shoulders when you are in charge of planning an event and you want it to be successful and you want all attendees to have a good time. It’s a great idea to bring in a neutral person to speak to your students in a way that is encouraging and uplifting. So book your college speaker today and enjoy your event.
